Frequently Asked Questions

How much does digital forensics cost?
Most of our retainers start at around $1,000 and go up depending on the type of case, number of devices, cloud accounts involved, the amount of data, encryption, and other technical factors. We offer flat-rate pricing for personal, business, and legal cases. It’s best to book a free consultation to discuss your situation and receive an exact quote based on your needs.

Do you offer free consultations?
Yes, we offer a limited number of free, no-obligation consultations each month. Use our calendar link to book a time that works for you.

What services does your company offer?
We provide full-service digital forensic investigations including computer forensics, cell phone forensics, hacking investigations, unauthorized access, spyware and malware analysis, data compromise investigations, CSAM defense cases, cloud account forensics, email forensics, distracted driving forensics, employee misconduct, cyber harassment and stalking investigations, defamation documentation, and forensic support for civil and criminal legal cases.

Do you have payment plans?
Yes, we offer flexible payment options and installment plans for qualifying cases.

Who do you serve?
We serve regular individuals, law firms, solo attorneys, small and medium businesses, and organizations in need of professional forensic services.

How long does a phone investigation take?
We strive to complete most personal phone investigations within 30 days. Smartphones contain vast amounts of user data, and our process involves a full forensic extraction and deep analysis of the file system. This is not a quick scan — we analyze everything from system logs and app activity to user accounts, Bluetooth/Wi-Fi connections, spyware traces, and more. Rush options are available if needed.

How long does a computer investigation take?
Most computer forensic cases are completed within 30 to 45 days, depending on the size of the drive and volume of data. Rush services are available for time-sensitive cases.

Can my evidence be used in court?
Yes. All of our forensic processes follow industry standards, and we only use tools and software that have been vetted for court use. Our evidence and reports are forensically sound and can be introduced in legal proceedings.

Do you provide expert witness testimony?
Yes. Our lead forensic experts have testified in state and federal courts, depositions, and administrative hearings as qualified expert witnesses. We are available to support legal teams with reports, consultation, and courtroom testimony.

Where are you located?
Our forensic lab and headquarters are located in Daytona Beach, Florida, but we serve clients nationwide.

Do you work outside the United States?
No. We only handle cases within the United States. If you need digital forensic services in another country, we recommend working with a provider in that jurisdiction.

Can I mail my device to you?
Yes. For most cases, devices are shipped to our secure lab in Florida for forensic imaging. We typically need the device for only a few business days. After forensic imaging, we return your device and conduct the analysis using the forensic copy. We also offer remote acquisition services for supported devices.

Do you offer remote services?
Yes. Depending on the make and model of the device and your technical comfort level, we can perform remote data acquisition and remote consultations.

Is my case confidential?
Yes. All client and case information is strictly confidential. We do not share your data with anyone except you, your legal team, or your designated representative.

Is my data secure?
Yes. All case data is stored on encrypted servers or in locked evidence storage. We follow strict chain-of-custody procedures from beginning to end.

How long do you keep my data?
We retain your case data for 60 days after your case is closed. After that, all data is securely and permanently deleted unless you request extended storage in writing.

Can you guarantee results?
No forensic provider can ethically guarantee a specific outcome. Every case is unique. We guarantee a professional investigation using validated forensic tools and methodologies. While we aim to uncover evidence wherever possible, some devices may contain little or no useful data due to encryption, resets, or user behavior.

Can you hack into someone’s phone or account for me?
No. We do not offer hacking services or anything illegal or unethical. We only analyze devices or accounts that you own or are legally authorized to access, such as a business device, a family member’s phone with consent, or a device obtained through discovery in a legal case.

Can you bypass phone passcodes?
In some cases, yes — but this depends heavily on the device make, model, iOS or Android version, and whether biometric or numeric encryption is enabled. Most modern smartphones cannot be bypassed without legal cooperation from the manufacturer. If the passcode is known, we can proceed immediately.

Can you recover deleted messages or files?
In many cases, yes. We can often recover deleted messages, files, and artifacts from phones, computers, and cloud accounts. Success depends on the device, how long ago the data was deleted, and how much the device has been used since. Deleted data from newer encrypted smartphones can be more difficult to retrieve and may not be possible without backups.

Do you analyze cloud accounts?
Yes. We examine Gmail, iCloud, Google Drive, Facebook, Instagram, Dropbox, and similar cloud-based services for unauthorized logins, suspicious access, synced data, and forensic artifacts. For enterprise platforms like Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, or AWS, please contact us for a scope-based quote.

What is your refund policy?
We are happy to provide a full refund prior to any work beginning. However, once forensic work has begun and billable man-hours are logged, no refunds are provided in full or in part. This policy ensures that we can allocate lab time and staff fairly across all clients.
